Many people snore. But the question is not whether you snore or not, the question is to what extend you are snoring. No one will notice if you snore just a little and you will probably never get to know this yourself.

The second possibility is that you snore very loud and frequent, this means that it probably is more serious and if this is the case you should see a doctor and get sleep treatment.

However, most people who read this article probably fall somewhere in between: they don't need medical help, but they (or their loved ones or roommates) are annoyed by it.


This article will show you five simple snoring solutions that will hopefully help you to lead a snore free live.

1. Find out whether your snore through your mouth or through your nose.

There are two ways people snore: some snore through their mouth, other do it through the nose. Generally speaking, if you snore through your mouth, there are some simple ways to prevent that.

However, if you snore with your nose it may be a bit more difficult to get rid of it.

2. Medical devices.

As you learned in point 1., there are two types of snorers. Thus, there are different types of medical devices to help you to get snore free. If you snore with your mouth, there are many devices that help you to keep your mouth shut during the night. Once you used such a device for three or four month, your body will get used to it and you can sleep with your mouth shut which oftentimes prevents you from snoring.

If you snore with your nose there are other devices, the way they work is mostly that they keep your nostrils open and ensure that you can breath long and deep.

You should talk to a professional before you use any sleeping device.

3. Improve your sleep quality.

This is a good idea for everyone. If you only have mild snoring problems, raising your overall sleep quality may help you to get rid of your snoring problem. But even if it doesn't, it will still benefit you as you will feel more relaxed and have more energy during the day. It's a great thing to do and there are many easy way for doing it.

4. Get a new pillow.

This is probably the easiest snoring solution there is: get a new pillow! Make sure your pillow has the right size and that you feel comfortable on it. Many people snore because they use the wrong pillow. The main reason for this is that their heads fall in the wrong positions and create a posture in which it is impossible not to snort.

5. Earplugs

This is probably not the ideal solution, but if you only have mild sleeping problems and you don't want to spend much money and effort on it, just buy earplugs. If you (or your loved ones or roommate) don't hear the snoring, the problem is often solved.

These are some easy snoring solutions that hopefully help you to stop snoring. There are multiple other methods that can help you to get rid of it, but I just wanted to highlight some of the most popular that will solve the problem for most people.
